In between is the other side - traces of a growing motion (Chicago), 2012
The series was created during a stay at Threewall's research residence in Chicago June 2012. The metropolis' multiculturalism attracted me and my many walks from one district to another made me reflect on how the city's areas are both segregated and united. The local art critique group Bad at Sports drew attention to my pop-up exhibition at Threewall's gallery entitling it "Best Photography in Chicago 2012".
The work is a giclée print on matt paper (print from digital image file), mounted on a kapa board and framed in a black-painted wooden frame. There are six works in the series each with an edition of 5, all signed on the back.
